Top Twelve Ways to observe the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children

Image
The over 56 million abortions since the 1973 decisions of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton reflect with heartbreaking magnitude what Pope Francis means by a “throwaway culture.” However, we have great trust in God’s providence. We are reminded time and again in Scripture to seek the Lord’s help, and as people of faith, we believe that our prayers are heard. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), no. 373, designates January 22 as a particular day of prayer and penance, called the "Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children”: “In all the Dioceses of the United States of America, January 22 (or January 23, when January 22 falls on a Sunday) shall be observed as a particular day of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life and of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion.” As individuals, we are called to observe this day through the penitential practices of prayer, fa...

The Top Three Reasons to March for Life

This week, America memorializes the 57 million innocent lives lost to abortion since January 22, 1973, when the U.S. Supreme Court imposed abortion on all 50 states through the unjust Roe v. Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg Admits to Supporting Eugenics as a Legitimate Reason for Abortion

Image
This is truly shocking! Operation Rescue President Troy Newman shared the quote below (in bold) from Supreme Court Justice Ginsburg this evening after we finished watching Maafa 21: Black Genocide in 21st Century America and it was horrible to hear her words. Via Deacon Keith A. Fournier at Catholic Online : Emily Bazellon of the New York Times Magazine conducted an interview with Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg entitled “The Place of Women on the Court” which appeared in its’ July 7, 2009 issue. Justice Ginsburg was amazingly candid about her support of unrestricted abortion . In response to a particular question she supported even eugenics as a legitimate reason for a woman “choosing” to take the developing human life growing in her womb. Here is an excerpt: Q If you were a lawyer again, what would you want to accomplish as a future feminist legal agenda? JUSTICE GINSBURG: Reproductive choice has to be straightened out. There will never be a woman of means without choice anymore. Th...

Second Senator Says Sotomayor Backs Roe V Wade

Image
In an earlier post, I reported that Sonia Sotomayer met with top pro-abortion Senator Diane Feinstein on Tuesday and Feinstein said she felt comfortable with her support of Roe V. Wade. Now pro-abortion Sen. Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat who met with Sotomayor late Wednesday, is saying the same thing. "I was very pleased that the judge indicated that in the past that she has had a great respect for precedent and that Roe v. Wade is established law," Wyden told reporters, according to a Politico report. Wyden says he asked specifically about the issue of abortion and the controversial Supreme Court case and "she acknowledged the importance of precedent." "She made that very clear," Wyden said.
