On an earlier post , I requested prayers for Melissa Hackney, age 24. Melissa will be admitted to the hospital on Thursday, March 6th. She will receive very strong doses of chemotherapy on Friday, March 7th and Saturday, March 8th. Her immune system will therefore be wiped out. Her physician has been very upfront in that this is a "do or die" situation. He has also made it very clear that she may not make it through this ordeal. Prayer for Melissa, her mother Patti and family are very much needed at this time. If all goes well with the chemotherapy treatment; Melissa will have the bone marrow transplant on Tuesday, March 11th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time . Friends of the family have asked that everyone please pray a rosary for her at that time. Prayer warriors are needed to respond this urgent request.
