The recently released videos featuring Planned Parenthood employees bartering body parts of aborted infants are startling and appalling. This brings forth dialogue about the human person and the dignity of life, the argument for which is not based upon sentimentality or compassion but rests firmly upon a belief in the existence of God.

Jan. 6, 2014 (TexasRighttoLife) - A three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit is hearing arguments today for and against key provisions of House Bill 2, the new pro-life law passed by the Texas legislature during the second special session last year.  After the bill passed, Federal District Judge Lee Yeakel (Austin) sided with the abortion plaintiffs by ruling that two provisions of House Bill 2 were unconstitutional. The three-judge panel, drawn at random by the court, will consider arguments from both the Office of Attorney General Greg Abbott and the plaintiffs, who include abortion businesses Planned Parenthood and Whole Woman’s Health. Via Live Action News: When Ayanna Byer scheduled an appointment at Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains to take an abortion pill to end her pregnancy, there was no way for her to foresee the horrors ahead of her.  Earlier this month, Byer, through the assistance of the attorneys at Alliance Defending Freedom, brought a lawsuit to hold Planned Parenthood liable for the botched abortion that she did not consent to. According to that complaint, when Byer arrived at the Planned Parenthood clinic, it was determined that her pregnancy was too far along to be terminated through the use of a pill, therefore a surgical abortion was recommended. Ms. Byer agreed upon the condition that she would receive IV anesthesia, for which she would be charged extra.  Although the employees could not get the IV started, the doctor came to start the procedure anyway. Yesterday the Ohio Supreme Court upheld an earlier decision that allows Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Ohio (PP) to keep secret their reports documenting whether or not PP is notifying authorities of instances of statutory rape of pregnant minors seeking abortion services at the Cincinnati clinic. The Ohio Supreme Court heard arguments last October on this issue after granting a Motion for Rehearing which was brought by attorneys for Jane Roe. In Roe v. Planned Parenthood, the parents of Roe allege PP employees breached their legal duties when they failed to notify the proper authorities of the young girl's sexual victimization by the 22-year-old male who brought her to the clinic. They further allege that PP violated Ohio's parental involvement laws by failing to notify or get consent from them before performing the abortion on their 14-year-old daughter. Seventy-two years ago Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger visited El Paso, Texas, delivered a speech proclaiming the need for the acceptance of birth control and helped found the city's first family clinic. But last week, Analinda Moreno, Planned Parenthood of El Paso's interim executive director, announced all seven of the organization's clinics in the El Paso area would permanently close today. She cited financial reasons. "There were many factors that came into the decision," Moreno told the El Paso Times. As Cardinals fans, my husband and I spent part of this past weekend watching the Royals - Cardinals game on TV. However, we didn't realize that a culture war was taking place behind the scenes. The Royals put up a link on their website to encourage people to buy tickets to "Right to life" night. And the link which read "come cheer on the Royals as they play the St. Louis Cardinals and support the Missouri Right to Life" was getting clicks and selling tickets but then...someone was offended!
