Effort to Open Christin's Abortion Death Grabs Media Attention

Wichita, KS – Two articles have been published about the grassroots petition effort to convene a Kansas Grand Jury to investigate possible criminal wrong- doing by abortionist George Tiller and his staff in the death of 19-year old Christin Gilbert. One article appeared in the Wichita Eagle and the other was an Associated Press story with photo, which was published in a number of newspapers around the country. These articles break what has essentially been a media black-out on this story.

Petitions will be submitted to Sedgwick County officials after a brief ceremony on Friday, April 7, at noon at the County Courthouse in Wichita, KS.

Operation Rescue broke the story that a young woman had died during a botched abortion on January 13, 2006. OR investigators uncovered the documentation that initiated the Grand Jury effort. That documentation will be submitted for presentation to the Grand Jury.

  1. We need billboards with pictures of Christin and Tiller, with the question, "Which was legalized abortion supposed to protect?"

  2. You're an Oblate for the Community of St. John?!!!! My twin-brother, Br. Andrew, is actually a Novice for the community! Have you ever met him (you can't miss him, he's the only Chinese guy there).

  3. Arthur,

When I went to the Community's 30th anniversary celebration in Rome this past February, there were about 2000 members of the Community there from all over the world. I am not sure which monastery your brother is located in but I am assuming it is in Princeville since he is a novice or is he in France now?

Feel free to email me or send me another post if you like and we can discuss this further.

    God bless you,
    Jean
