Our Blessed Virgin Mary Deserves the Best!

For approximately the past 13 years my husband has been driving a 1993 Buick La Sabre. It had a perfectly good 3.8 liter engine with 310,000 miles on it (Yes, you read that right.) and Our Blessed Mother (in the form of holy cards on the dash) traveled along with him. Just this past week, we figured it was time to purchase a new vehicle, as we didn't feel "Old Faithful" would make it on an out-of-state trip and back -- at least it wouldn't be the most comfortable ride with the roof starting to leak and the seats getting a little more wobbly. After purchasing his new "toy", my spouse commented, "I needed to buy this. I couldn't cart Mary around in that old clunker anymore. The Queen of Heaven and earth deserves the best."

Now the Queen of Heaven and earth has six speakers and heated seats.

  1. I love a guy who loves Our Blessed Mother. What a devotion he has! :-D

  2. We share our devotion to her and have both consecrated our lives to her.

Bill had a long-time devotion to her before we met and I did as well. We both prayed for her intercession for a good Catholic spouse.

    God bless you, Julie,
    Jean

  3. You can't beat those heated seats. Too bad he didn't get that nice new car before the winter, when he could enjoy them!

What a wonderful idea, to keep a reminder of the Blessed Mother in the car with you at all times. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. Hi, Barb!

Hey, I'm enjoying those heated sits right now. When you have fibromyalgia and arthritis, the muscles and the joints appreciate the heat year round.

We take his car almost everywhere now, rather than mine.

    God bless you,
    Jean
