Kansas & Tennessee Endorse Pro-life Candidates For Primaries
Topeka, KS (LifeNews.com) -- Voters in Kansas and Tennessee will head to the polls this week with voters having the opportunity to make a difference to get pro-life candidates to the November elections. Kansas voters will cast ballots on Tuesday while Tennessee voters will pull the level for their favorite candidates on Thursday.
In Kansas, the state's pro-life group has endorsed two pairs of candidates for the Governor and Lt. Governor positions to take on incumbent pro-abortion Democrat Kathleen Sebelius.
Kansans for Life is backing the Republican teams of Jim Barnett and Susan Wagle and Ken Canfield and Kathe Decker. The group urges pro-life voters to back whichever candidates they think have the best shot at defeating Sebelius in November.
Also in the GOP primary, the pro-life organization has also endorsed state Rep Eric Carter for Insurance Commissioner, and both Kay O'Connor and Ron Thornburgh for Secretary of State.
On the KFL web site, the group also lists endorsements for candidates for state legislature, state board of education and district court judge races.[More]
My Comment: I am praying that someone who will beat pro-death Governor Sebelius (who is Catholic in name only) will be elected today. I know that Canfield is 100% unconditionally pro-life.
Keep praying the Novena for the elections. I hope and pray that a pro-life Governor will be elected to your state. Please pray that a pro-life Governor or at least more of a pro-life one will win the election in Illinois.
ReplyDeleteI certainly will -- IL desperately needs a pro-life governor.
ReplyDeleteThe educational system as well as the nursing homes are really in terrible shape there ever since Gov. B. took office.
God bless you,
Jean
