Shout out from 200 Will Co. constituents to Sen. Durbin: Stop obstructing parental notification

While defending his unconscionable obstruction of the Child Custody Protection Act, Democrat Sen. Dick Durbin recently stated on the Senate floor he had not heard from any Illinoisans favoring this legislation.

Sen. Durbin's statement was flatly untrue.

Later, in a July 27 response letter to Concerned Women for America of Illinois' Director Karen Hayes, after she reminded Sen. Durbin's staffers she had met with them in Washington to support this legislation, staffer Dena Morris equivocated by stating:

What he was saying is that people have not been raising that issue with him in his travels around the state of Illinois. People in Illinois regularly volunteer to him their concerns about other issues.... They have not volunteered the pressing need for a federal law to prohibit pregnant minors from crossing state lines for an abortion."

Today, Right to Life of Will County is sending a loud and clear message from 200 constituents to Sen. Durbin, letting him know there is indeed a pressing need for a federal law that prohibits nonparents from trafficking minor girls for abortions from states with parental notification or consent laws to states without them - the correct interpretation of CCPA," stated Right to Life of Will County president Jill Stanek."

As. Sen. Durbin is fully aware," continued Stanek, "this is currently a giant loophole sexual predators slip through to cover their crimes via interstate trafficking of young victims - by literally killing the evidence. Taking minors across state lines without parental knowledge or permission is called kidnapping."

This past weekend at the Shorewood Fest in northeast Will County, 200 supporters of this legislation signed postcards to Sen. Durbin urging him to stop obstructing CCPA for the safety of minor girls and well-being of their families."Polls consistently show at least 80% of Americans support parental notification legislation," concluded Stanek. "

Illinois residents demand Sen. Durbin stop kowtowing to the abortion industry and instead observe the wishes of his constituents. Two hundred reminders will be sent to Sen. Durbin in the mail today."

My Comments:
Another lie from Darth (or is it Death) Durbin -- no, not a bit suprising. When is he going to remove his horns and start acting like a Catholic again? In my opinion, he should have been ex-communicated long ago. He represents the culture of death, the party of death, and has no business forcing his way into our family rooms trying to coerce our children to murder their children. By his wicked actions, he is encouraging sexual predators to harm our children and get off scott-free!

Durbin, you are a disgrace to your faith! You are clearly following in the footsteps of Satan and doing your best to see that the evil one's will is done. You have been blinded by power, pride, and greed and have sold out to the abortion industry at the cost of your very soul.

  1. Durbin is a disgrace as well as am embarassment to all Catholics. He has no right being in any kind of leadership position in this country.

Let us pray that he gets ousted in the next election.

  2. This man is the reason why so many of our children in IL have died. His actions are abhorrent!

Nevertheless, I pray daily for his conversion. He was a good man at one time and there is hope for him if he will turn back to God and repent of his destruction of innocent life.
