Annual Respect Life program materials now available

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- This year's packet of materials for Respect Life Sunday includes a CD-ROM with all the kit materials for the first time. The annual Respect Life program begins Oct. 1 this year. It is observed in virtually all U.S. Catholic dioceses with a combination of education, prayer, service and advocacy activities. This year's theme is "Created, loved, redeemed by God. Priceless!" Packets provided to each diocese include advertising materials, a poster, a liturgy guide, clip art, suggestions for activities for adults and children and a set of educational pamphlets. The CD includes all the materials in both Microsoft Word and PDF formats, as well as longer versions of the pamphlets. All content is provided in English and Spanish. The information also may be downloaded at the Web site of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Printed versions of the kits may be ordered from the Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities at its distribution center's toll-free number, (866) 582-0943, or by fax to (301) 779-8596.
