Conversing with Jesus: Prayer Intentions

Today I am lifting my heart up to the Lord and praying for these special intentions:

for a friend's daughter, Maria, for her conversion and preparation to go to the Lord. She is now in a Catholic hospital with a staph infection in her blood. She has cancer and doesn't have much longer to live. Lord, help her through this very difficult time and prepare her heart and soul so that she may be ready for You. Mother Mary comfort her and strengthen her on this journey as she passes from this life to the next. Shower your graces upon her, her mother and family, and fill their hearts with peace. Surround them with Your Heavenly angels and hasten the healing process for her. Lead her to the merciful heart of your Son. Jesus, we trust in You. Mary, Queen of peace, pray for them. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on them! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for them!

for all who are in hospitals and nursing homes that they will not treated as outcasts in our society, but will receive visitors and be treated with Christian compassion and love. I pray also that they will offer up their many sufferings for those in most need of them.

for a respect for human life from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death.

for the fruitfulness of all those who work in the pro-life movement and for a pouring out of abundant graces upon them so that they may persevere in love.

for the conversion of all abortionists and their staff.

Thanks for praying with me for these special intentions. If you have a special need, please let me know via email at catholicfire@cox.net (Be sure to put Prayer Intention as the subject heading.) or by leaving a comment below and I will be happy to pray for your intention during daily Mass and during my Holy Hour. God bless you!
