U.N. Agents Tried to Stop Nicaragua’s Vote on Abortion
“Women’s rights” committee obsessed with abortion but silent on child sexual abuse
Washington, D.C. –– A United Nations (U.N.) committee on women’s rights sent a belligerent letter to Nicaraguan politicians prior to their historic vote last week to ban abortion. Yet these U.N. officials have been virtually silent on the well-corroborated case of a powerful Sandinista leader and former president accused of sexually molesting his stepdaughter.
“Nicaraguans held a massive rally – 200,000 strong, led and filled by women – in support of an abortion ban,” said Wendy Wright, President of Concerned Women for America (CWA). “Yet radical feminists and U.N. officials tried to bully Nicaraguan leaders into cancelling the vote. This extraordinary interference contrasts sharply with their silence and utter failure to help seek justice for Zoilamerica Navaez, the stepdaughter of one of the most famous Nicaraguan politicians and Sandinista leader. My Comments:
The more I hear the term "Women's rights" the more nauseated I become. When the secular media refers to "women's rights" they are naturally referring to sickening and sinful behaviors and activities which our culure of death thrusts upon impressionable and vulnerable young women. It is the evil marketing of sex for pleasure at the expense of the woman's health and her baby's life. It is the pro-death marketers and the media which rapes our young women of their virginity, their modesty, and their morals.
It is Planned Parenthood and the Abortion mills who profit from a woman becoming sexually active and getting pregnant. They pressure her into having an abortion, their "counselors" or "ministers" frequently insisting that it is "God's will" for her. Yes, they are now commonly deceiving the agnostic or Christian woman who believes in God by inserting "God" and religion into the picture to justify having an abortion. They also continue to use the old tricks "It's tissue or a mass of cells being sloughed off, and "It won't hurt - it's like getting a tooth pulled."
Typically, from what I have been told by women who have aborted their babies is that they enter the abortuary and have no conversation with the doctor, but are herded in like cattle into a holding room and wait in fear until the surgery. The abortionist is rough and "mean" to them, and insensitive to their pain and feelings. Most bleed and have severe cramps for a long time afterwards. Some have serious physical complications. Almost every woman I have met who has had an abortion has told me that she would never do it again.
Most suffer from post - traumatic abortion syndrome and endure moderate to severe depression, anxiety attacks, nightmares, as well as a whole host of psychological symptoms. Spiritually, they are dead. As with any grave sin, they have cut themselves off from God's grace and have ex-communicated themselves from the Church. Yes, they can be forgiven and the healing can begin when they confess their sin in the Sacrament of Reconciliati0n, but how long will the healing process take? How long will they endure the emotional pain that accompanies their action?
"Womens' rights" ? What about the baby's rights? Is it still womens' rights when the baby girl is murdered in her mother's womb?
What about the father's rights and the grandparent's rights? They are practically non-existent.
"Child abuse" is such a common term nowadays that people are practically insensitive to it. Sexual predators is so common today that our society has basically grown indifferent to the term. Thanks to Planned parenthood. the abortionists, the ACL and ridiculous laws, a predators' right to privacy has become more important than a child's right to be protected from harm.
The United Nations is another nauseating term. I visited the United Nations as a freshman in high school and thought what a wonderful place it was - a place where leaders throughout the world could gather and come to agreement on important issues through diplomacy. Of course I was an idealistic youth and had even thought that someday I might want to work as an interpreter for the U.N. Now, when I hear the term U.N. the words that come to mind are "terrorism", "radicals", "nuclear warfare", "abortion promoters" "abusers" and "bullies". This post only solidifies my beliefs. We don't need the United Nations - the ideally the concept is a great one, but in reality, what if anything positive do they accomplish in our society today?
What I want to know is why is the U.N. butting into Nicarauga's ban on abortion, forcing their distorted perceptions and ideology on a democratic society? Why is it their concern? It certainly seems to me that they are violating the rights of the women of Nicaragua in this situation. The majority of the women there want this ban. They should be chasing after that Sandinista leader and former president who accused of sexually molesting his stepdaughter. Whoops, I forgot the UN is a not a group of nations seeking justice but only a group which attempts to control others and force their own ideology on others. Gee, it seems like Planned Parenthood, the abortionists, the sexual predators, and the U.N. have a lot in common - they're all Power-Mongers.
