Hillary and Obama Slam Supreme Court on Abortion Ruling

WASHINGTON (Reuters) Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama criticized recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions as hypocritical and inconsistent on Tuesday, saying a ruling upholding a late-term abortion ban was part of a concerted effort to roll back women's rights.

Senator Obama, is it a woman's right to destroy her body and undergo the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual trauma of abortion? Doesn't a woman also possess the right to protect her body? Doesn't a woman also have the right to be informed about the horrific consequences of an abortion? Doesn't she have the right to be told the truth: that it is a baby that will be killed in this procedure and not a piece of tissue? Doesn't the child that is growing and developing in the mother's womb also have a right to life? How would you feel if your own mother had exercised her "right" to abort you?
Reuters:

Obama and Democratic White House rival Hillary Clinton, making separate appearances at a conference of abortion rights activists, pointed with pride to their Senate votes against the confirmation of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito.

Here are a few of the other ridiculous statements that Obama and Hillary made:
"I would appoint well-qualified judges who really respect the Constitution," Clinton said.

Hillary, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but you don't have a clue as to what the Constitution is all about. The Constitution was written by a group of Christians who guaranteed all human beings the right to life. It was their desire to protect and preserve all human life, whereas it is your desire to destroy it. I'm sorry, but you do not possess the skills that it takes to select good judges - you lack wisdom, understanding, compassion, morals, and the judgement skills it takes to be successful at such a task. As Thomas Jefferson once wrote: "The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government."

And this statement emerged from the mouth of Obama, "
We need somebody who's got the empathy to recognize what it's like to be a young teen-aged mom."

Senator Obama, are you implying that you possess this compassion or have the capability to select someone who does? Sorry, but I don't think so. You have supported every abortion measure that you have voted on, including partial - birth abortion. Encouraging a woman to destroy her body, risk her fertility, her life, her mental and spiritual health and murder her child is not an empathetic action. When one is empathetic they help the woman by: assisting her in providing for her individual needs, whether it be providing her and her child with food, clothing, shelter, emotional or spiritual support. This is something that an abortionist will never do for her. Abortionists are takers - they take a large amount of money from the woman, they take away her dignity and self-respect, her hope, the life of her child, and sometimes even her own life. What kind of person would do such a thing to another? What kind of person would suggest that a woman have this procedure done?

  1. I know the answer to this question, but why can't we tell the truth to all women seeking abortion.

In high school, you may not give a child an asprin with out parental permission, but you may not tell them the truth about abortion. I believe telling them the truth must be required, but that would end their "cash cow" money machine...
