649 Pope Saint Martin I was consecrated (d. September 1, 655).

1439 An agreement on various teachings by the Eastern and Western churches was signed and promulgated on July 6. The Greek Orthodox and Roman Catholics signed the Decree of Union at the Council of Florence (Basel), creating an official union between the two churches.

  1. Jean, I have really enjoyed all the photos you posted of your beautiful flowers! Your echinachea photo was especially of interest because I had no luck in growing them. My mom is a big believer that it helps prevent colds.
