Today's Prayer Intentions

As members of Christ's Body, we suffer with those who suffer. Let us pray:

R/ Have mercy, Lord.

For those who feel abandoned in their suffering:
send them compassionate companions to accompany them. R/

For those who struggle under the burden of sorrow:
send them compassionate friends to support them. R/

For those who fear to share the sufferings of others:
send them compassionate guides to encourage them. R/

For those who feel threatened by the presence of death:
send them compassionate ministers to bear witness to the Gospel of the cross. R/

For the repose of the soul of Trudy, a friend from Cursillo who passed away and for peace and comfort for her husband, Mike, and the entire family.

For Dave, a husband and father of two, who was recently diagnosed with throat cancer.

For WI Catholic, who has been diagnosed with cancer.

For healing for all those suffering from cancer: Diane (who has been fighting it for almost 3 years now), Fr. L., Dave (stomach cancer), Gloria, Robert, Harry and Vic. For peace and comfort for their families.

For full-time employment for Bill, and for a job with excellent benefits.

For employment for Tina's Husband.

For a good job with medical benefits for M.

For Lori's special intentions.

For the K. family's home search.

For M.'s upcoming marriage to H.

For all our clergy, especially for those in leadership positions.

For an increase in holy vocations to the priesthood and the consecrated life.

For Olivia - a baby born at 26 weeks by emergency C- section. She is in the neonatal ICU and weighed one pound, 3 ounces at birth. (She was born June 29.)

For 9 month old, Maggie, who was born with multiple problems in her heart,liver, and immune system and for her parents.

For D., who is considering an abortion.

That all may be done in accordance with the will of God, at this decisive moment in the history of the Dominican Union City Monastery.

For this prayer request from Esther

For an end to the culture of death in the world so that the dignity of every person will be revered.

For all of Bill's special intentions.

For healing emotionally and spiritually for Michael and his family.

For a personal special intention.

For all previous intentions mentioned here, for those around St. Blog's and for all who have requested prayer.
