Kline files 107 Charges Against Planned Parenthood in KS!
From WorldNetDaily.com:
A 107-count criminal complaint has been filed against a Planned Parenthood operation in Kansas, alleging its operators not only failed to diagnose required conditions for late-term abortions but also performed illegal abortions and provided false information about them.
"Yippie," said Cheryl Sullenger, a spokeswoman for the nearby Wichita-based Operation Rescue. "This is what we've been saying all along, that they've been breaking the law."
The complaint was filed by Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline, who said in a prepared statement that he would not be commenting on the case against the Olathe business.
But the statement noted that the counts against Comprehensive Health of Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri were reviewed by Johnson County District Judge James Vano, who found probable cause on each count.
According to the Johnson County District Attorney’s web site, the charges include:
23 felony counts of Making a False Information
26 misdemeanor counts of Unlawful Failure to Maintain Record
29 misdemeanor counts of Unlawful Failure to Determine Viability for a Late-Term Abortion
29 misdemeanor counts of Unlawful Late-Term Abortion
The felonies carry possible fines of up to $100,000 for each count, and the misdemeanors carry possible fines of up to $2,500 for each count.
“The charges filed Wednesday validate our claims that Planned Parenthood has been operating outside the law,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “We are grateful that there has been a breakthrough in the corrupt political system in Kansas that has for years looked the other way while abortionists blatantly disregarded the law at the cost of innocent lives. Now, finally, some measure of justice is being served.”
“The charges also show the extent to which Attorney General Paul Morrison is willing to go to cover up for his abortion industry cronies that helped elect him. He had access to the same records and failed to file a single charge,” said Newman. “That says volumes about the lack of integrity in Morrison’s office.”
“We have no doubt that if further investigations by a grand jury go forward that we will see even more criminal indictments handed down. The 107 counts are just the tip of the iceberg. Planned Parenthood has for years thumbed their noses at the laws of the State of Kansas,” said Newman. “Now, it is time to pay the piper in a court of law.”

I hope this time he can stay in office long enough to finish the job. That the abortion industry won't "buy" another election.
ReplyDeleteI am praying for justice to be served in this case, I have been following it for some time, and it's amazing what the pro-aborts have gotten away with, it's hard to believe we're in the USA sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting on this, Jean.
