Today's Intercessory Prayers

O, Lord, You have guided your Church through the mind and heart of Your holy doctor Saint Therese. Through her intercession, we pray:
Make known Your ways, teach me Your paths.

O Lord, You filled Saint Therese with the spirit of wisdom and understanding:pour out Your gift of wisdom to all those You have called to spiritual leadership.

O Lord , You drew Saint Therese to ponder Your hidden mysteries in her heart; deepen in all Your people the desire to pray.

O Lord, You inspired Saint Therese to teach the wisdom she had learned through prayer and suffering; teach us by her writings and example.

O Lord, You brought St. Therese at last to contemplate You in Your glory at the right hand of the Father: gather into Your presence all our dead.

In thanksgiving for the money we received to make our house payment and the gift certificates we received to purchase food. PTL!

For the Holy Father's special intentions for this month:

1. "That the Christians who are in minority situations may have the strength and courage to live their faith and persevere in bearing witness to it."

2. "That Missionary Day may be a propitious occasion for kindling an ever greater missionary awareness in every baptized person."

For Chris T. and family, whose grandson committed suicide yesterday.

For continuing strength and fortitude to fast and pray for an end to abortion and all sins against human life in these 4o days for life.

For a job offer for Bill, who has been to many interviews in the past few weeks. We pray through the intercession of St. Joseph, patron saint of workers and fathers.

For Linda W. who is in the final stages of cancer.

Dawn Eden's prayer request for Steve's mother.

For all the prayer intentions at One Came Back.

For the conversion of all those ensnared in the culture of death.

For a special intention for Raphael.

For conversion of Maureen and family, Michael and family, and Heinz.

For a miracle for the current situation with PP in Aurora.

For all previous prayer intentions mentioned here and for those of my readers.

Our Father...

May the Lord guard us from all evil. May he guard our lives. Amen.
