The Sisters of St. John (Contemplative Order)

These Sisters are from my Community - the Community of St. John. Particularly "hidden in God" by Mary and in her, the contemplative sisters are, in the heart of the family of Saint John, guardians of its contemplative fervor. Living the Father's attraction in an ultimate way requires of them a silent, but joyful fraternal charity that bears wittness to the victory of love given by Jesus to all men. Don't they have angelic voices?

My thanks to EJGcatholi for this beautiful video.

  2. I know very little French, but to me, just watching the film, is so inspiring. It really conveys a positive message and reflects a deep sanctity.

  3. Pax!
at the beggining the Sister sings.
" God come to my assistance", " from my sins deliver me, erase all my faults", then it fades with the doxolgy.
the video part the Sisters are praying intercession, with the response, "Lord have mercy, o Christ have mercy".
later the Prioress , during the clothing is just reading the symbol behiond each garment as the new Novice is attired.puting on the 'new man" , and the next is difficult to hear but basically she says," May the Bessed Virgin Mary, in whose protection is symbolized by this scapular, preserve your body and soul and sopme thnigs about assurance..etc.."
after its the Angelus and Hail Maries...then during the photos are bieng sung parts like,"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee,"
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary."
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips"
