Video: Sarah Palin's ABC Interview - My Analysis

Sarah Palin faces tough questions head on with precise intelligent decisive answers. Part 1.

Charlie Gibson sets the bait over and over, but Palin stands openly on the GOP vision for the future of this nation. She is a strong Christian who lives out her faith and supports the culture of life, while Obama is a far left radical extremist who supports the culture of death agenda: abortion, infanticide, Planned Parenthood sex education for kindergartners, and gay marriage.

I believe she did an excellent job of answering his tough questions! Instead of sputtering and stuttering like Obama did in the O'Reilly interview when faced with questions that were slightly challenging, she answers very precisely with intelligent, well-thought out answers, which seems to surprise him. I think he is probably used to the slow-thinking, dull-witted Obama, who is so out of touch with the average American citizen in terms of values and morals that he has to invent answers to cover himself. She's a confident, honest lady with high morals -- just the opposite of Obama. I wonder why Gibson is speaking to her in such a condescending manner -- I'm sure he wouldn't talk to Senator Obama or any other man in such a manner. Gibson challenges her when she mentions God and prayer. He tries to back her into a corner, asking her if she sees this as a "holy war", but she comes back with a great quote from Abraham Lincoln. His Bush doctrine question is really vague and he seems reluctant to be more specific when she asks for clarification. He seems to be trying to trap her there, too. However, she handled it well and came out on top.

Here's what the Catholic Knight has to say about the interview: One, Governor Palin holds up well to some of the worst media anal exam ever dished out in recent memory. And two, the mainstream news media really, really, REALLY hates her - almost as much as the Democrats hate her. When you consider how anti-Catholic and anti-Evangelical the mainstream news media is, that in itself is enough reason for me to like her.

The Anchoress gives a complete rundown here.

What did you think of the interview?

  1. When she asserted that yes, she was ready to be Vice President, and Gibson asked her, "doesn't that take some hubris?" I wanted her to reply, "Does it? I don't know, Charlie, what did Senator Obama say when you asked him that question?"

  2. the more I see her, the more I like her. She holds herself well and I think Charlie looked stupid asking the same questions. He got the same answer every time. He really did want to trap her.

  3. As typical another member of the esteemed MSM comes off as arrogant and haughty towards someone of faith.

Gibson is ignorant beyond belief and apparently is not cognizant of the principle of collective security in NATO????

Marx forbid, Palin actually believes in God (like our Founding Fathers) and actually has invoked Him to protect our troops abroad and lead our nation!!!!
(just like Washington, Lincoln and FDR has done in times of war)

Every day Sarah Palin continues to astonish me more and more, she didn't blink, she didn't back down and she reiterated her answers cogently...

She is more prepared to be either Pres. or VP, than either Barry Soetoro or Uncle Joe put together!!!!

  4. "Charlie Gibson" may be looking "down his nose" to Gov. Palin, but I love the way she calls him "Charlie", not "Mr. Gibson", kind of a slap in the face back at him.

    Way to go "Hockey Mom"!!!
