2009 March for Life

Tens of thousands of abortion opponents rallied in Washington DC today to mark the 36th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

I watched the March for Life on EWTN today and it seemed larger than last year's March. People were there from all over the world. Some of the many countries represented were: Malta, Italy, France, Ireland, and Spain.

Jean, it was an amazing experience. I will be posting more pictures soon. Such a strong Catholic presence there was. In spite of the sadness of our current situation, the tone was hopeful. We have a lot of work to do.

Too bad our "good catholic" VP wasn't there. I hear that when he went to communion after the inagural, the people in his church applauded him.
