In the last five days, two pro-abortion governors, Tim Kaine of Virginia (D) and Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas (D), signed legislation into law that benefits the pro-life cause. Late last week Governor Sebelius approved a bill that requires women who are considering an abortion to be fully informed about their "choice" through ultrasounds and literature. Then yesterday, Virginia governor Tim Kaine signed a bill that creates "Choose Life" license plates in his state--the proceeds of which will benefit pregnancy resource centers. Not surprisingly, both of these decisions greatly upset pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL, which have described ultrasound machines as "weapons" and claim pregnancy resource centers "promote extreme views to stop women from exercising their right" to kill their child.
