Updates on Notre Dame Scandal: The Battle is Heating Up

There has been a lot going on with the Notre Dame Scandal lately and the battle is heating up.

Here's a bold new initiative:

ReplaceJenkins.com is a national effort consisting of Notre Dame Alumni and financial supporters who believe the University should not honor President Barack Obama given his public actions and commitment to the destruction of innocent human life, in violation of the express teachings of the Catholic Church.

LifeNews.Com has a good summary of recent updates here.

NotreDameScandal.com has 315,000+ signatures on their petition at this time.

NDResponse.com has the latest updates on events and protests.

The Cardinal Newman Society shares the information that President Jenkins refuses to dialogue with students on the Obama invitation.

Virginia’s Republican attorney general called on his alma mater Friday to deny President Obama an honorary degree when he delivers a commencement address at Notre Dame in May. Bob McDonnell, who is running for governor, said the Catholic college should not honor an officeholder whose policies are “in conflict with the Catholic social teaching.”

  1. I am so happy to hear this. After what Hussein NObama did at Georgetown University, (ask that they cover up all things religious and they complied), you KNOW all NObama wants is the "platform" of Notre Dame to place another wedge between Catholics and their faith.

I know many Catholics who are led astray because Bishops and Priests haven't come out against abortion strongly in the past and they think it is ok.

  2. Thank you for posting all of this. It's wonderful to have all this information in one place.

Sickened and saddened by the events at Georgetown earlier this week, makes this scandal at Notre Dame even more... extreme for lack of a better word. Why President Jenkins is refusing to have even a dialog is curious.... and perhaps a bit suspicious.

I'm continuing to pray on this.
