Planned Parenthood Demands More Money from the "Sebelius Clone"

When Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius moved on to her new post as HHS Secretary with the Obama administration, she was replaced by Mark Parkinson, who appears to be picking up where the radical abortion advocate, Sebelius, left off.

Gov. Mark Parkinson is expected to make his first decision about an abortion measure this week, when he takes up the Legislature’s budget-balancing bill. Parkinson has said his views on abortion are “very similar” to those held by former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, close friend and protector of late-term abortionist George Tiller.

The state budget that had been approved by the Legislature and Sebelius earlier this year promised Planned Parenthood $250,000 in state funding for the 2010 fiscal year, but lawmakers had to amend that budget with a new bill when state revenue projections dropped. Now, pro-death Planned Parenthood supporters are pushing the governor to veto the provision, while pro-lifers want the governor to leave the funding alone.

I am so eager to see Kansas return to its roots and elect a governor who represents the values of the majority of the people in this conservative, Christian state and to be rid of these culture of death advocates. As they sadly abort more and more of their children, this may actually become a reality. In the meantime, let's pray for their conversion. Snuffing out the lives of the helpless, voiceless, and innocent is a terrible tragedy that can only be stopped by witnessing to the truth. Prayer and fasting will remove the obstacles. This is a battle which requires perseverance to the end: never give up, my friends, never retreat! For the battle does not belong to you, it belongs to God.
