Vatican Investigates Lourdes Miracle

Vatican officials have launched a miracle investigation after a multiple sclerosis victim claimed she'd been cured after a trip to Lourdes.

Rosa Mollica, 50, - from Ripi, central Italy - threw away her crutches after dipping her legs into the waters at the shrine, said to be a site of holy healing.

Locals in her hometown have confirmed the story.

"She started to jump after she had dipped her leg in the water," said villager Valentina Fanucci who was present at the miracle.
