Wichita Diocese passes Fr. Kapaun cause for canonization onto Rome

The closing Mass for the cause of canonization for Diocese of Wichita native son Father Emil Kapaun took place Friday evening, July 1, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Wichita. Over two years of work by hundreds of people was boxed and will be shipped to Rome for the continuation of the cause. I was blessed with the opportunity to attend this special Mass last night.
