St. Anthony of Padua

Today, June 13th is the feast of St. Anthony of Padua. Since he is one of my favorite saints, I have written a special post about him, which you can read here.

  1. St. Anthony is one of my favorites also. There is a statue of him with the baby Jesus in the east lobby of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes here in Spokane WA. I did not know who it was until the Rector, Fr. Darren Connall, during his homily last year on this feast day, told us that St. Anthony was one of his favorite saints, not because he helps find lost things, but because he constantly preached about the importance of the clergy living holy lives. The video is wonderful. Peace and God Bless.
