Jill Stanek: Obama's Worst Nightmare



Last night on Hannity and Colmes, Sean Hannity interviewed Jill Stanek about her experience at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL, holding a baby who had been aborted alive for 45 minutes until he died.

This is a brief version of what I heard in her original witness at Sacred Heart Church in Peoria, IL at the Central IL Right to Life pro-life rally several years ago (which was much more detailed). It was her witness that motivated me to become a pro-life activist. As one of Jill's many prayer warriors, I received daily emails on her personal situation as well as articles dealing with the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and kept a close watch on Obama. He was and continues to be a strong proponent of infanticide.

It just blows my mind that he can deny what is truth, call others liars, and not even bother to apologize to those whom he accused of lying when he himself is the one who misrepresented the facts. The facts are out in the open now, Obama, so you don't have to play that game anymore. You look more foolish than ever!

The Hannity-Colmes interview extended to Barack Obama's leadership role in opposing the IL Born Alive Infants Protection Act, to give abortion survivors legal rights. Obama not only voted against Born Alive, he was the sole senator to speak against it on the senate floor - 2 years in a row.

One other point clarified during the interview: Obama denied for 4 years he voted for the identical language in IL that was passed overwhelmingly on the federal level, including a unanimous vote in the US Senate. NARAL went neutral on the bill as well.

Today is the feast of Saint Michael de Sanctis, also known as St. Michael of the Saints, a Spanish Discalced Trinitarian priest, the patron of cancer patients. Michael Argemir was born on September 29, 1591 at Vic, Catalonia, Spain. At age 6, he told his parents that he planned to become a monk and began modeling his life after Saint Francis of Assisi. Michael’s parents died when he was about ten years old. He then served as an apprentice with a local merchant. Saint Gerard of Brogne: Patron of Abbots

St. Gerard was born to a noble family in Staves, Belgium, in 895. He descended from a royal line of military men and at first felt a share in this call to arms. He trained for the army and, as a page of the count of Namur, he was sent on a special mission to the French court. There, Gerard realized that he was being called to the monastic life. He stayed in France and joined the Benedictines of St. Denis, abandoning his noble birthright and all his worldly possessions. He spent eleven years in France as a monk before becoming a priest.
