If Barack Obama Becomes President....


Many people today are angry with the recent bailout that took place in out country (myself included) and some are pointing fingers of blame in the wrong direction. For a truthful and objective explanation, please see my post Barack Obama, ACORN, and The Economic Crisis.

However, I am channeling that anger into prayer and action – to get the truth out to the American people – especially those who have been ill-informed or deceived by the mainstream media.

What can we expect if angry voters vote for the wrong candidate – Barack Obama?

an increase in abortions due to loss of protection for the unborn

an increase in infanticide

an increase in euthanasia

loss of our second amendment rights

an increase in taxes

an increase in same sex marriages

a loss of religious tolerance – more acts of hatred and persecution toward Christians and other faiths

lack of tolerance and respect for traditional marriages (between one man and one woman)

the take-over of our country by terrorists whom Obama has consistently befriended and made deals with

the loss of parental rights as a fundamental right

another government bail-out of large corrupt corporations in the very near future and a possible Depression in this country

A Planned Parenthood take-over – Government will abolish home schools and demand that we send our children to public schools, where they will be educated by Planned Parenthood. In addition, they will demand more and more of our money to pay for the increasing number clients that are coming to them for abortions.

Loss of respect and fewer rights for those in a traditional marriage (one man, one woman)

Civil War – Due to the above-mentioned radical changes in our society and the extreme differences between those who support a strong, pro-life, pro-family value system and those who promote a pro-death, anything goes value system, I believe this is inevitable.

Let me clarify this for you--I am not saying that this is what I support, but what I foresee happening if Barack Obama is elected President of this country.

    We'll see more invasions like the one that happened in Waco and the invasion of the Texas polygamous sect, but they will no longer be "fringe" groups like we have seen, but be places like Marytown (in Florida) or other Christian sects who are just trying to fly under the radar while teaching their children the Truth.

    I agree with everything you have said here, in fact, I have been saying the same thing for several months now. As for as the Civil War, I know that since this summer, most small gun shops in the area cannot keep hand guns in stock, people are buying them as fast as they can receive them. I have also heard of people calling around and driving up to 100 miles at $3.50 gas just to purchase one or more.

    I have seen bumper stickers promoting the “Second Revolution” if anything is done to do away with the second amendment. All of this is NOT from the criminal element, but from what most people would call law abiding citizens.

    Most of these people are frustrated but tolerant with the situation so far, but this may push many over the edge.

    If you want to see what happens when a nation loses their weapons, just look at our own history in how we dealt with the various Indian Tribes. The first thing we did was to disarm them, and look what happened.

    The main stream media is nothing more than a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party. I hope some of you have read what happened in Germany in the 1920’s. The similarity is so frightening.

    Jean, I think your list is thorough and incisive...

    We will be hit at home and abroad by the enemies of the Republic and all B. Hussein Obama will do is go tin cup in hand to the UN...

    As for our Judeo Christian values & traditions, their assault will be given the imprimatur of the government by those who promote the culture of death.

    I agree with everything stated, one other thing that I would add is I think you'll also see a country that loses it's sense of patriotism. There will always be those who are patriotic regardless of who the President is, but I think Obama will demonstrate that being patriotic just isn't that important anymore, and many of his supporters will follow. I truly don't believe that Obama will go out of his way to protect this country, he will be more focused on becoming popular across the globe, even if that means being friendly with evil world leaders that are eager to attack us. There is no doubt in my mind that this man wants the world to admire him, America is just his stepping stone.

Saint Michael de Sanctis: Patron of Cancer Patients

Today is the feast of Saint Michael de Sanctis, also known as St. Michael of the Saints, a Spanish Discalced Trinitarian priest, the patron of cancer patients. Michael Argemir was born on September 29, 1591 at Vic, Catalonia, Spain. At age 6, he told his parents that he planned to become a monk and began modeling his life after Saint Francis of Assisi. Michael’s parents died when he was about ten years old. He then served as an apprentice with a local merchant. During this apprenticeship, he continued his fervent devotion to the Lord, especially to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Saint Gerard of Brogne: Patron of Abbots

St. Gerard was born to a noble family in Staves, Belgium, in 895. He descended from a royal line of military men and at first felt a share in this call to arms. He trained for the army and, as a page of the count of Namur, he was sent on a special mission to the French court. There, Gerard realized that he was being called to the monastic life. He stayed in France and joined the Benedictines of St. Denis, abandoning his noble birthright and all his worldly possessions. He spent eleven years in France as a monk before becoming a priest. Following his ordination, he left for Belgium in order to found a new abbey on his own estate of Brogne. He was its abbot for twenty-two years and during that period was instrumental in introducing St. Benedict's Rule into numerous houses in Flanders, Lorraine and Champagne.He became known for his engaging sweetness of temper, his strict observance of the Rule of St. Benedict and for the replacement of lukewarm religious practice with true piety.
