Happy Presidents' Day!
Presidents' Day was originally designated in honor of George Washington's birthday and is still legally called "Washington's Birthday." The first president of the United States was born on February 22, 1732. Presidents' Day is a national holiday taking place on the third Monday of every February.

Washington never lived in the White House.

Being from Illinois, we usually celebrated Lincolns Birthday on Feb. 12. Now the days are combined, and both men are considered great men and leaders.
