Fr. Pfleger creates terrible scandal

Fr. Pfleger is back in the news.

Via One News Now:

The American Life League (ALL) objects to a controversial Chicago priest receiving of a lifetime achievement award.

Priest Michael Pfleger has received his recognition from Cardinal Frances George, according to ALL spokesperson Michael Hichborn.

"Father Pfleger is very, very in favor of many pro-abortion politicians," Hichborn explains. "He's hosted Al Sharpton. He's hosted several other pro-abortion speakers at his church, even after he was told not to. He has come out in full support of Barack Obama, even though Obama is the most pro-abortion president that this country has ever had."
For supporting such pro-abortion leaders, the priest received a mere slap on the wrist, says Hichborn.

"He was suspended for two weeks...and yet he is getting a lifetime achievement award,"
the ALL spokesperson points out. He adds, "I'd even question why Father Pfleger is allowed to be the pastor of a parish, even though he has been openly dissenting against the bishop himself."

Hichborn says Pfleger's award is creating "a horrible scandal."

Of course it is! It's about time people noticed. Let's see, how many years have we been complaining about this "priest"? How many years has he been leading the faithful astray?  And now, he's given an award. Hmm...I wonder what kind of reward he will be given when he meets his maker?
