Third and Final Debate a Victory for Keyes
Three Strikes and You're Out, Obama!
I have just returned home from Chicago where I viewed the third and final historic debate between Alan Keyes and Barack Obama. This was the best debate ever, as Obama proved by his answers to the questions presented to him that he does not practice what he believes in regard to his Christian beliefs on marriage. He convicted himself with his own words.
Obama appeared dull and dim-witted next to Keyes, unable to think logically, responding "Yes" to a question when he meant to say "No" and not realizing his mistake until after the interviewer pointed it out to him. Long pauses, frequent hesitations and answering some of the questions in a vague, incoherent manner were all characteristic of Obama's performance tonight. Obama went into his usual "deceptive phony politician mode", but was not even doing that very well tonight. Instead, he was obviously transparent and his hypocrisy came through loud and clear repeatedly throughout his presentation.
In sharp contrast, Alan Keyes responded quickly, without hesitation, articulately presenting well-thought out, common sense answers that spoke truth to his audience. He came across once again as authentic and genuine, strongly standing up for his Christian pro-life, pro-family beliefs. He appeared self-confident, never flinching, but consistently maintaining his role as a strong, decisive intelligent leader.
It will be interesting to see how the secular press reports on this debate -- how they will twist things to make the "dim-witted death reaper" who has consistently voted for murdering babies in his own backyard appear to be the hero and the victor in this debate, despite the fact that he showed his true colors tonight. "He can run, but he can't hide!" Hmm...Sounds like a catchy phrase to me. It reminds me of another pro-death politician I know, but that's another story.
The debate was carried live on PBS station WTTW-11 in Chicago. C-SPAN 2 will rebroadcast the debate at 11 p.m. CT. The cable network will also provide streaming video during the rebroadcast, for those who don't get C-SPAN 2.WTTW-11 will also rebroadcast the debate at 12:00am and 3:30am CT.
