Today on Fox News, a young man stated that he stood in line for ten hours in order to view the Holy Father's body for ten seconds. Now that is true devotion. So many people from so many walks of life throughout the world loved our Holy Father and were drawn closer to the Lord through him. I am one of them. After a long absence from the Catholic faith, I returned in 1987, on fire for my faith due to the evangelization efforts and prayers of my fellow Catholics who were so deeply inspired by Pope John Paul II. He was indeed the father of our Catholic family here on earth.
