Saint of the Day:St. John Baptist Rossi, Priest

Born at Voltaggio near Genoa, as a priest in Rome he worked for forty years among the sick and the poor, and especially among cattle-drovers and homeless women. He was in great demand as a confessor, and he once said that the shortest road to Heaven lay in guiding others to the confessional.
