Falling this year on January 21, National Sanctity of Human Life Day was first set aside by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 to commemorate the lives lost through the legalization of abortion in the United States of America. In the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wichita, an estimated 700 pilgrims will travel to the March For Life on the 14 buses provided by the diocese. Bishop Jackels, ten priests and eight seminarians from the diocese will be joining the high school and college age youth traveling there.
