Fixing my gaze upon the cross...receiving power and strength

"In difficult moments I will fix my gaze upon the silent heart of Jesus, stretched upon the cross, and from the exploding flames of His merciful heart, will flow down upon me power and strength to keep fighting."

~ St. Faustina Kowalska, (from her Diary, 960)

  1. Last night, I was kneeling in front of a large painting of the Divine Mercy. All I could see, without raising my eyes was his feet. What wonder, those bare feet. What miles he trod to bring the Good News of his Father's love to us. Those bare feet that traveled the first Way of the Cross. And he washed other's feet. These were bathed in the tears of the repentant woman. I beacame that woman, and embraced those loving feet.

    Thank you, St Faustina.
