'Baby Joseph' Gets Second Chance at Life in U.S
This is an update of my previous post on Baby Joseph from FOX News:
The baby who was hours from being pulled off life support at his Canadian hospital has been rescued by the national director of Priests for Life and taken to the U.S. for treatment.
Thirteen-month-old Joseph Maraachli, who is currently kept alive by a respirator and was recently denied a transfer to a Michigan hospital to undergo a tracheotomy, arrived in the U.S. early Monday morning with Fr. Frank Pavone and other Priests for Life staff.

I am so happy that this little one will receive compassionate care at last. I will keep his family in prayer.
ReplyDeleteI am just a bit troubled by all the attention being paid to Fr Frank Pavone at this point. Many many people worked to help Bay Joseph, including the Franciscan Brothers of Peace. You don't see them blowing their own horn or snapping photos with the baby in the hospital. Looks too much like a fundraising tool to me.
I am getting more and more concerned about priests that seem drawn to the celebrity status.
