Jill Stanek: Breaking news: RNC releases mailer attacking Obama on Born Alive

Sam Stein in the Huffington Post reported that the Republican National Committee has released a mailer in NC attacking Barack Obama on his opposition as state senator to the Born Alive Infants Protection Act.

And it's perfect...




Wow! It looks like they saved the best issue for last.

    Jean, yesterday in my parish, at mass, and throughout our diocese we received a flyer from the National Right to Life, in English and Spanish.

    It was excellent, exposing Obama & Biden...plus, in our case down here in Florida we have Amend. 2 issue, like California, in order to enshrine that a marraige here is only between 1 man and 1 woman.

    There was a second flyer signed by Archbishop Favalora, as well as 8 other Florida Bishops promoting the passage of that law.

    Can't believe there some polls that Obama is getting close to 45% of the Catholic vote???

    Archbishop Chaput was awesome yesterday, in a speech about Obama and his hand maiden Kmiec.

    Dear Carlos,

    I agree with you that I can't believe all the Catholic votes he is getting. I can only suspect they are "Catholic" in name only like our "Catholic" politicians...

Today is the feast of Saint Michael de Sanctis, also known as St. Michael of the Saints, a Spanish Discalced Trinitarian priest, the patron of cancer patients. Michael Argemir was born on September 29, 1591 at Vic, Catalonia, Spain. At age 6, he told his parents that he planned to become a monk and began modeling his life after Saint Francis of Assisi. Michael’s parents died when he was about ten years old. He then served as an apprentice with a local merchant. During this apprenticeship, he continued his fervent devotion to the Lord, especially to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
