Hail King Obama: President for life

As Inauguration Day approaches and Barack Obama prepares to assume his first term as president, some in Congress are hoping to make it possible for the Democrat to not only seek a second term in office, but a third and fourth as well.

The U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary is considering a bill that would repeal the Constitution's 22nd Amendment prohibiting a president from being elected to more than two terms in office.

  2. This is insanity. The man has hardly done a thing in the political realm. And what he has done is scary. What's with the adulation? It is so without reason. And we should amend the Constitution so he can run for a third term when he hasn't even started his first?? And have they forgotten that the presidency is limited to two terms for a reason?? This abandoning of rationality really makes me nervous.

  3. If you listen to the rumors, he is not a king, but a god!!!

Forgive me, but I have a God and Savor! "For me and my house, we will serve the LORD!"

  4. I switched off the TV today...and will stay away from the news...This is not a time for rejoicing but for lamentations.

But I did note in an interview with Nancy Pelosi she seemed a little put out that a newbie Senator is now President and not a Democratic Senator who has 'earned his stripes'..thats just the impression I got from her.

Obama is NOT Lincoln nor is he Martin Luther King both men would be appalled at his PRO-DEATH stance even to killing babies who survive abortions.

Obama reminds of the song VIVA LA VIDA by Cold play....'for some reason I can't explain I know St. Peter wont call my name. Never an honest word but that was when I ruled the world.'

But be of Good Cheer..It is God that rules our Hearts who stay true to Him:).

    Peace to you Jean:)

  5. Alexa and Rosemary,

    I share your sentiments.

    Bill,

I agree. Many do think Obamanation is a god and are expecting miracles from him.

    Marie,

I agree totally -- this is a time for lamentation.

Also, your statement "Obama is NOT Lincoln nor is he Martin Luther King both men would be appalled at his PRO-DEATH stance even to killing babies who survive abortions" is absolutely true!

    Thanks, everyone, for your comments.
